Dear host family,
My name is Yasmin, I'm a 28 years old girl from Brazil. Currently living and studying in Ireland. I'm a well mannered, articulate and responsible person, with great deal of experience and interest in children and their development. A confident child carer who is emotionally mature and possess high energy levels and an ability to develop close relationships with both children and families. Possessing excellent communication skills and able to relate well with people at all levels and converse in a polite and courteous manner. Able to work to an excellent standard under considerable pressure whilst presenting a positive image to others. Keen to find a challenging position within a responsible employer where I will be able to continue to increase my work experience & develop my abilities.
Regarding my experience I've been an au-pair in Belgium for a year in 2014.
Currently I’m responsible for looking after two children, one of them being 4 years old and the other 8 years old. Being totally focused on the children, organising and implementing their daily routines and helping then to grow learn and develop, getting the children ready in the morning, reading to and with the children, helping with after-school activities like homework, being disciplined with the children when required, providing healthy meals and snacks for the children. Providing supervision and constant care to children, stimulating children to read and be active, playing with the children and taking them shopping & to the park. General housekeeping duties like cooking, light cleaning and washing up.
I also have experience with new-born babies, changing nappies, and preparing bottles of milk for babies.
I speak fluent English, Portuguese, Spanish a bit of Dutch. I'm a friendly and creative person and I love to learn about new cultures. I would love to be an aupair in Denmark before returning to my home country.
