ISABELLA, 26 JAHRE

Dear host family, My name is Isabella and I am 26 years old. I come from Brazil, but my mother comes from the USA and my dad is Brazilian, so I am fluent in English and Portuguese. In 2018 I graduated from Dentistry College, in Brazil, and since I've always enjoyed working with children, I specialized in Pediatric Dentistry in 2020. For the past few years, I had the privilege of serving as a pediatric dentist, dedicating myself to the oral health of children from infancy to adolescence. In addition to taking care of the oral health, my priority was always to ensure that the treatment was carried out in a fun and non-traumatic way for the child. As of now, I find myself in Portugal, where my family has resided since 2020. Although I have stepped away from my dental profession, I've embraced new opportunities in various fields, including childcare! My recent role involved caring for children aged 1 to 7, allowing me to gain important insights into the needs and expectations of families. I believe in building trust and creating strong bonds with the family and children under my care, always prioritizing patience, respect, and compassion. As an Au Pair, besides helping with the kids I would also be happy to help with the house chores, cooking and day to day needs. Beyond my passion for childcare, I also love being outdoors. During the summer in Portugal, I had the pleasure of working for a leisure company that organized aquatic activities, escape rooms, and treasure hunts. This experience reinforced my love for adventure and fun! I have had the pleasure of visiting Denmark several times. Each visit left me enchanted by the architecture, rich art culture, and the cherished concept of 'hygge.' In August 2023, I embarked on a journey to learn Danish (Duolingo), slowly making progress. However, the possibility of further immersing myself in Danish culture and language within the country itself excites me. I am grateful for you to consider me as a potential au pair for your family.
