Hello future Host family!
My name is Oriana, i am 19 years old and i´m from Arroyo Seco, Argentina.
I live with my mother, Belkis, her husband, Sergio, and my little brother, Manuel. We have pets, a dog, Cloy, a cat, Fidel, and a rabbit, Odin. Also I have a big sister, Fatima, but she lives in other house, and my father, Jorge, too. My sister and my mother are teachers and my brother goes to school.
I’m a baker and I really love cooking and baking.
I consider myself sociable,
funny, transparent, proactive and very responsible and respectful person. I love meeting people and make new friends, I’m very friendly!
I want to be an au pair because i like spending time with children because their fun and happiness is also mine.
i would like to be able to teach my future host kid Spanish and some things about my culture, my country and to cook some typical Argentina´s food.
Also, this gives me the opportunity to live the experience from the inside, to participate in the cultural Exchange, learn the language, practice it and to be able to travel and visit new places. I also think it is a good experience to get to know myself in different situations and see how i would react to them on my own, i consider that the experience will help me to become more independent and grow personally.
I speak Spanish fluently and a little bit of English, but I want to learn more and I would love if you help me to speak more English in this process with you!
As for my experience with children, first, I helped my little brother, since 2010, when he was born.
In 2016 I helped in the hockey school for a year. I was the teacher.
They were all little girls. It was really beautiful experience! I loved them very much!
Also, last year, I take care two kids, a new bor, Santiago, and a six year old, Agustin. We spent the whole afternoon playing together!
In my free time I enjoy watch movies like “Harry Potter” or “The lion king” and series like “Grey’s”, it’s my favorite! I also like reading and swimming, traveling, and playing with my dog!
