Hello! After numerous trips to Denmark, I have truly found the place I want to relocate to. And thus, I am seeking a host family to live with. Originally from New York, I have over 10 years of child care experience, including private nannying, daycare work, psychiatric care, and teaching. I hold this career close to my heart and it is very important to me to create a nurturing connection with not only the children in my care but also a professional relationship with the families I work alongside. Besides child care, I have had the opportunity in NY to become a certified EMT (emergency medical technician), which further aids my child care career as I am both CPR & First Aid certified. Not only that, I have undergone annual training for both professions, to make sure my knowledge is kept up to par. I am comfortable with newborns, (the youngest I have worked with is one week), infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children, and I am more than happy if my care includes pets; I'm an avid animal lover! I'm friendly and adaptable in approach, and I always go above and beyond to make sure every child in my care feels safe and nurtured. I create close bonds with the kids I work with and look forward to every day I spend in this career.
