Hello,I’m Erica a 21yr female from Ghana,and I am thrilled to be staying with your family.I’m excited to learn about your culture,share my own experiences,and get to know each of you better. Here’s a little bit about me In my free time I enjoy reading interesting books,listening to musics and watching movies.My favorite activities,sports,or hobbies are volleyball,running,singing,drawing,video games . I am from Ghana where I grew up surrounded by a loving family that values respect,peace harmony,community and family ties etc . My parents, Mr.Eric Adusei and Mrs Martha Adusei , have always supported me in pursuing my passions. I have 5 siblings, and we've shared many fond memories together. Our family enjoys holidays celebrations together,family gatherings,out door events etc, which has helped shape who I am today." Ghanaian culture is rich and diverse we have about 100 ethnic groups I am an Akan My traditions are; Respect for elders,community and family ties,traditional clothing which is kente etc My values are ; Respect,Hospitality,community involvement,spirituality As a recent high school graduate, I've developed strong communication skills and a passion for working with children. I'm excited about the opportunity to be an au pair and gain experience in childcare while learning about a new culture. This experience will not only help me develop my skills as a caregiver but also provide valuable insight into child development, which aligns with my future goal of becoming a pediatric nurse. I'm looking forward to this experience and the chance to learn and grow as an individual.
