JADE, 24 JAHRE

Dear Host Family, Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. My name is Jade and I am 24 years old. There is no doubt that you get a lot of letters from potential Au Pairs, but rest assured, you won't regret reading my reasons for wanting to become your Au Pair. I am currently living with my family in Cape Town, also known as the “Mother City” of South Africa. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, bonding, and doing fun things together. Watching Korean dramas is also one of my guilty pleasures (with subtitles.) I have a passion for reading in my free time as well. Reading a book can be an enjoyable way to spend your free time. Books can take you to new worlds, introduce you to new characters, provide a way to escape from reality, and place you in a creative world to explore your imagination. Books are also a great way to learn new things. I also have a big love and passion for art or artistic things. A little more about me which I know some Korean families would like to know and might find important. My MBTI type is INFP-T. Having the opportunity to be your next Au Pair would be a dream come true for me since I love children and enjoy spending time with children. I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult situations, for instance when the kids are tired or don’t want to listen to me. I expect that in the first couple of days, I will be exhausted because I guess taking care of children the whole time can be tiring. But I am sure that I will adapt to the new tasks and daily routine quickly and become a big help for you. It's really easy to live with me since I don't have a lot of demands. Respecting your house rules and respecting you is important to me. Rather than ignoring something that isn't working as it should, I prefer to talk about it. I have never spent longer time abroad except for holidays so I don’t think I will become particularly homesick. If I do feel home sick there’s always the option of video calling my family.
